The 150 MW Burgos Wind Farm is the largest wind power project in Southeast Asia.

The 150 MW Burgos Wind Farm is the largest wind power project in Southeast Asia and is located within a 600-hectare site. The facility consists of 50 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 3 MW,  generating electricity to the Luzon Grid.  The project also included a substation and a 43 kilometre long 115 kV transmission line.

The first phase of the project consisted of 29 wind turbines and additional infrastructure; the second phase included another 21 turbines. The project required exceptional coordination as the second phase was started before the end of the first phase, and they were commissioned at the same time.

WSP served as owner’s engineer providing project technical and monitoring support.

The project received winner of the 2015 Asia Power Engineering International Best Renewable Energy Project – Burgos Wind Farm, Philippines (Power Engineering International) Certificate of Recognition for achieving 5 million safe man-hours with no lost time incident.

As the world moves towards decarbonisation to support our thriving communities and future generations, the shift towards green hydrogen and green ammonia as the basis for establishing a new global renewable energy trade creates the opportunity for Australia to maintain its status as a major energy exporter.

Harrestrup River (Harrestrup Å) in Vigerslev Park (Vigerslevparken) is about to undergo a major transformation. The City of Copenhagen's Technical and Environmental Department aims to combine climate adaptation with biodiversity enhancements and increased recreational value throughout the site.

As part of Innovate Energy, a private-partner consortium, WSP is designing, building and converting the existing high-temperature steam system powering Canada’s National Capital Region to a more energy-efficient, low-temperature hot water system to reduce the nation’s greenhouse gas emissions.

Windpeshi is a clean energy generation project taking place in indigenous communities' territories in La Guajira Peninsula, northern Colombia.  The project entails the design, construction, operation and maintenance of a wind farm with approximately 200 MW of installed capacity through the installation of a maximum of 45 wind generators, a booster substation inside the wind farm, a 59.1 km long 220 kV transmission line and other supplementary works.

An Integrated Resource Recovery (IRR) strategy was developed for the Courtice Water Pollution Control Plant and was a first step towards the sustainability of this 68.2 MLD plant. The study searched for technical solutions to derive value from the plant’s waste and to minimize its inputs. The results not only brought focus to the Region, which lead to the IRR option to pursue further into the design and implementation phase, but also immediate improvements with the implementation of short-term solutions.

The largest power transmission line in this South American country connects the north and the south, thus providing greater power reliability and stability.

Harvesting wind energy to power homes.

Remotely located in Australia’s outback, Silverton Wind Farm will be Australia’s sixth largest onshore wind project.

The Jurong rock cavern is constructed under a design-build contract for storing a variety of liquid hydrocarbons, including crude oil, condensate, naphtha and gasoil.
